The patient was male, Asian, in his 30s. The main complaint was strong stomach pain after overeating. He once committed it when he ate too much four years ago and felt intense pain, and couldn’t walk during his travel. The patient thinks it hurts the stomach due to food accumulation and hopes to take Baohe Pills to relieve it. The tongue picture is normal, and the coating is thin and white. The pulse is floating and slippery strings near the Cun-Guan location, the pulse in other locations are relatively normal. From the point of view of the position of the blockage, it is not in the middle Jiao of spleen and stomach, and the deep pulse is not strong. It can be seen that it is not suitable for Baohe Pills or Dachaihu and Chengqi-like laxatives. The patient felt painful right below “Xinxia” when doing the abdomen check. Continue to ask the patient, he could feel consciously chest discomfort. It is a suitable symptom for Xiao Xianxiong Formula. Give a high dose for 1 day and a low dose for 2 days. After taking it for two days, the patient felt that his symptoms disappeared, and he did not insist on taking the last day.
If the patient originally had a chest syndrome, but mistakenly thought it was an overeating and used the method incorrectly because he developed the disease after binge eating, not only would it not improve the condition, but it would make the condition worse. Therefore, it is very important to judge the condition accurately and objectively.
