Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of warm water
  • 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 2 cups of fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

This pizza is made with a thin and crispy crust, fresh spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. provides relatively balanced nutrition but does not have strong benefits for nourishing the body or supporting detoxification from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. It can serve as a regular dietary option for the general population.

Cooking Steps

    In a small bowl, combine the water, yeast, and sugar and let it sit for about 10 minutes, until frothy.

    In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt and make a well in the center. Pour the yeast mixture and the oil into the well and stir to form a dough. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 15 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

    Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, until doubled in size.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced) and lightly grease a baking sheet.

    Punch down the dough and roll it out into a thin circle. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet and spread the tomato sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle the spinach and the cheese over the sauce and season with salt and pepper, to taste.

    Bake the pizza for about 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden and crisp.

    Cut into slices and serve hot or cold. Enjoy!
